Thanks for visiting my website! Something happened to me a month prior to turning 30… I decided it was time to take parts of my dream in this career of massage therapy and start putting it into action rather than just thoughts.
Kneading Deeper has been many things in the past 2 years and it has just been given a new identity in 2015. I have created it with the concept in mind that our lives can not be fully lived by staying on the surface and neither can our bodies especially when we sustain injuries, illnesses and experience muscular aches and pains. We have to locate the source to help the pain. That is exactly how “Kneading Deeper” came into view. In my own experiences prior to being in massage therapy, I witnessed and experienced many times how we can cover up the surface where we think the pain lies. As a therapist, and Instructor this concept has come full circle. Subtly, we do not look at the deeper source and we still expect the injury to disappear over time on it’s own. In many cases, The pain remains because the actual source was never addressed in the first place.
In working in therapeutic massage therapy, I have discovered this first hand. This kind of massage is unique and takes experienced, skilled hands to understand the ins and outs of the musculature in the body. I have been mentored, taught and have continued to learn with an excellent team of therapists daily. It is called therapeutic massage and can enable healthier recovery, better movement and ultimately a better quality of life!
Through my past experiences in health and fitness, I have developed a growing passion to educate individuals with a unique insight into massage therapy, self massage techniques and understanding the role it can have on the physical, mental and emotional health long term. I want to help others make the same connections that have changed my life. I believe this could be the start of something awesome.
